It was a course with only 5 attendees. I found that this was a bit more personalised. We worked well together in our teams, and Lavaneesh provided good content that kept us all engaged throughout, with plenty of breaks.

I recommend PAL-EBM training with Lavaneesh. During one-day online class Lavaneesh created a space to share experiences and engaged all participants. I liked formula of this course - interactive, engaging and based on real use cases discussions. I've learnt EBM principles and valuable materials have been shared after the course what helped consolidate my knowledge before assessment.

Lavaneesh was very passionate about what he does and that is what made him an brilliant trainer. He was well acquainted with the course material and I really enjoyed the course. He made us get out of our comfort zones and really think about how the theory would be put into practise.

The trainer was very energetic and knowledgeable. He was able to back up his points with industry knowledge and examples. I would recommend this course only to those who are prepared and have taken the PSM I course as it references the basics and build upon those rules and guidelines.

Good group size, big enough to work with lots of different people in the exercises, not too big for individuals to ask questions and hear from everyone at least a few times. Good time management in the course. Interesting materials, lots of activities to keep minds focussed, much better than "death by powerpoint". 2 whole days and it didn't get boring. Good examples of situations and solutions. Content was appropriate to skill level of participants. Suggestions for improvement (very minor!): Less talking by facilitator during times when students are supposed to read or gather thoughts, be more comfortable with silence and letting people focus. Maybe a bit more focus on non-team activities to give quieter people a chance to feed in directly.

Another excellent course from Scrum.org Lavaneesh was very passionate about what he was delivering to our group. He is particularly good at answering questions on the fly and explains how to put what we're learning into practice. I found this course really informative and a lot of fun. It was the perfect combination of open discussion and group work with a mixture of materials such as interactive whiteboards, video clips and additional reading. It was also a nice opportunity to meet people from other parts of Europe (via Zoom) share experiences and make connections.

I'm a Product Designer that took the Professional Scum with UX (PSU) training. This course offers a lot of relevant information and methods you can use to break down UX work into chunks with clear deliverables every sprint. To make it work, you would really need the support from the rest of the team + management. Downsides: I felt there was a lot of information crammed into a 2 day course, where you could feel the class's general fatigue on the second half of the second day. I would have also like more concrete examples of user stories where UX work is described as sub tasks.

Great Training! I loved Lavaneesh's energy which made the whole training quite enjoyable. The contents were interesting and give you a lot of context that you wouldn't be able to figure out on your own if you just read the EBM-Guide and the literature recommendations. Some of the exercises were a little short in time, but the training is a bit condensed and I preferred that over not covering all the points. Also it was usually enough to come up with at least a few things.

I started with a basic understanding of Scrum. I left feeling like I had become a Scrum Master rather than someone doing their best to fulfil the role. I highly recommend. This class introduced me to great concepts and actionable improvements.

The class was amazing and delivered very well. Took both my exams, sadly didn't pass but coming from having very little exposure to the industry, I think that 80% is a very well achieved result. Shame the pass mark of 85% is so high as more times than not, that 80 would have given me the certification! Recommend this class though to anyone interested! Extremely insightful.

Very interesting experience, from several points of view: contents, facilitation techniques used, level of interaction with the teacher and with the other participants. This course is useful for successfully taking the PSM II exam and for improving one's role as Scrum master, bringing concrete ideas into one's daily work.

If you are taking this course in preparation for your PSM 2 exam, then it's perfect for that. However, that doesn't tell the whole story. You will get more from this class than you imagined, you'll be prepared for a variety of scenarios in your real life, including tips for facilitation, and just working with, listening to and learning from others in the exact same situation as you. Lavaneesh was a great facilitator and I loved his examples that helped reinforce the learning.

Another excellent training session from scrum.org! Credit to Lavaneesh Gautam for being a fantastic coach and keeping engagement high and motivating despite being virtual, not an easy job. I really enjoyed the mix of theory versus real life examples and being able to share experiences and learn from other Scrum Masters was invaluable. Would thoroughly recommend scrum.org for Scrum Certifications and Lavaneesh as a trainer.

The session was very interactive, where he created a very positive and engaging atmosphere to keep everyone involved. He is friendly, energetic and patient to answer participants' questions, which I enjoyed a lot. He even stayed on longer after the session ended to answer personal questions participants had. His session was well structured and involved many practical exercises to apply one's scrum knowledge and the learnings from the course. He shared a lot of useful learnings, concepts and takeaways, which one has first to digest :D As a suggestion for improvement/reflection: I found that in few team exercises there was a lack of time to engage in a bit more deeper conversations because he covered a lot of ground and learning material throughout the two days. Personally, I would have preferred attending a 3-day training session instead to delve deeper and have more discussion time between the exercises. Cause sometimes I felt rushed and would have loved a slower pace and stay with one topic (especially if it was very interesting) longer. This also helps me to switch quickly between various topics and stay longer on one for a bit. It would also have been great to combine the exercises with more real world examples (i.e. after the exercise show this is how Company X applied it and what the outcome was, if that is possible). I enjoyed particularly the stories and experiences he and the participants shared and what they did, changed and learned. (Your story about: How you included release management within the scrum team, how long it too for that change and giving them the ownership to be able manage releases themselves and not be bounded by a release management department/group was great). However, in a day 2 training course I can fully understand that it is harder to accommodate this due to the limited time :) Overall, I would rate his training course a 4.5!

Scrum Master feedback Lavaneesh was an enthusiastic and knowledegable presenter, who was able to give real life examples to the illustrate the scrum theory. The resources provided during the course were broadly speaking very good (although some minor reviewing errors persist such as a duplicated paragraph in one). I felt that the course did not start strongly as there seemed to be an over reliance on making use of Mural as a flashy tool that offered little benefit over not using it at all. People who had not used it before found it confusing and frustrating, and not everybody successfully accessed it. I felt after nearly two hours I was not hooked meaningfully into a learning experience because of all this. However once we got into the swing of things it vastly improved. Having done several training courses, the success of passing the exam is usually rooted in an ability to link the question to the appropriate list or subset of items. Therefore it helps to really lay out the framework and show what you are working through and how to structure your learning to equip yourself. Although there were resources provided that actually explained this, (scrum essential diagram) I think it would have benefitted from calling this out up front as the journey we were going on and calling back to it as we progressed. This would have helped me feel clearer about structure and the learning requirement. However content was good and well explained, and the overall it was a well delivered online course, thank you Lavaneesh - final thought - maybe tone down the rat burger scenario as I felt some people on the call thought it was a bit too descriptive. :)

Lavaneesh has been a great trainer. I was part of his 2-day PSM course. Since the beginning till the end, he was full of energy, which creates a very positive and lively atmosphere in the class. His classes are very engaging and there's never a down moment. The course materials are very clear and concise - he has prepared 5-10 minute team activities too. A good mix of theory and working examples

The structure of this PSU I course is just amazing. Not heavy on slides and pure theory but rather self exploring and attendee involvement during both days of the training. The course touches on the activity of Lean UX with a sample exercise which is pulled throughout the course, of course following all steps with the explanations and demonstrations of the connection and placement within the Scrum process. It is, to be mentioned, an ideal scenario that the course tries to lead, but it serves actually as a perfect way of seeing how the current process you are working with is lacking. The one main thing I want to bring up is that Lavaneesh never interrupted any discussions we, the attendees had during the class, even some of those were not strictly related to the topic the course was covering in the moment. Lavaneesh rather joined the conversation and expanded on it with his own experience for which I am thankful. This way I not only learned from the course itself but also the attendees and their experience. This course was definitely the right choice. Thank you for the motivation it brought!

I attended my first Scrum course (PSU 1) in November and it was a fantastic experience. The course was run by Lavaneesh Gautam who brought the topic to life with his friendliness, enthusiasm for the subject and wide knowledge. The two day course was filled with a mixture of slide (it's not presentation heavy, thankfully!), case study activities, group work, reflective thinking and discussion, and team discussions where we reflected on our 'real life' experiences where Lavaneesh acted as a mentor. After gaining the introduction to PSU, the majority of the course is structured around a case study which takes you through the process of building a Lean UX canvas. This really helps cement what it is and its value and I quickly started to imagine how I could go about integrating it into my work. The activities were carried out in Mural so we have a record of our thought process and notes which is super helpful. I think above all, the course not only helps you see how the different activities aroun UX can fit seamlessly into Scrum but it shows you new ways of motivating the full scrum team and getting everyone involved. Great content, practical activities. "Tight" timeboxes for the activities are difficult but convey the message how important it is to be respected. Interaction with other students was also very positive, as it was the fact we rotated subgroups every day. Music in the breaks was nice -- should consider having a spotify playlist attendees could edit to be a co-creation :).

Trainer was very enthusiastic and was clear he had a passion for Scrum. Very knowledgeable with the subject matter and did not miss a beat in asking any questions from the class. Slides and examples were clear and too the point I guess if I had a criticism it would be the practical exercises, I think a pure software example would have been better and the timeboxing constraints (based on the length of the course to be fair) were quite stressful. Also I was a bit confused that we should use the same backlog throughout the whole course, if this was made clear it would be great!
