CPN In Brief
The Chesapeake Polyamory Network (CPN) was founded in 1998 and
is a private, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization, serving
the mid-Atlantic region of Maryland, the District of Columbia,
Delaware, Northern Virginia, West Virginia, and south-central
Pennsylvania.
We are made up of families and individuals 18 and over and dedicated
to supporting those who choose to live a lifestyle that includes
committed, loving relationships with more than one partner. We
do this through informational and educational programs for members,
a wide range of social and recreational activities, a thriving
online listserve, several dedicated Special Interest Groups (SIGs),
and outreach and advocacy efforts directed at improving the general
public's awareness, understanding, and acceptance of the polyamorous
lifestyle as a legitimate, respectable alternative to traditional
monogamy. Come and Explore Polyamory

The purpose of this web site is to
provide information to CPN members, prospective members,
and persons interested in polyamory.
We strive to provide a comprehensive on-line "base," from
which visitors can jump to a wide array of primary sources
and resources, rather than needlessly duplicating them
here. Rather than be another "us, too" polyamory website
repeating the same content and a few repetitive links,
we have devoted considerable effort to winnowing through
a lot of the material on-line, cataloging the best and
most informative of it, and presenting it in a simple,
uncluttered format. We hope you will feel we have succeeded.
